Hippo in the Cupboard by A.F.





     
   Once there was a magical land where there was a war. It was a good army with good mystical creatures against bad mystical monsters. There where 2 leaders. 1 was the hippo☺ He was the leader of the good army and a mystical wizard☹ was the controller of the others,  but the hippo was being transported to the real world from the wizard. In The real world the hippo was not real but he has cool weapons.  Also he was the favorite toy of his owner so when his owner Anthony got a cupboard,  he put him in there to keep him safe.  Then after school he opened the cupboard then bang!!!!! He shot his laser blasts and  then said surrtser and Anthony was scared.  So he said ok I am a good guy please don’t hurt me. So the hippo said so youre good.  I said ya.  Then I heard my brother coming, and he said who is that? Oh just my brother Ahhhhh!!!!!!! He said when the brother came and he jumped around the corner. The brother said what was that?  I lied oh it was me.  You scared me so I screamed. Mmmmmm ok. Hippo said what was that?  I told you it was my brother. He’s huge and scary. Then I said where did you come from?  He said I came from a war in a mystical island.  I said well  if you want I could let you practice with my toys.  I mean they would not be real but they would be ok to play with so you could practice with them  because I can send you back but you look bruised so I can help you get better. Then I will  send you back so I will get you food and give you things. Stay here and I will get you some dinner.  Stay on the bed and wait. So then while he was gone his sister took some things from his bedroom and hippo saw he pretended to be fake so she would not notice. So when I came back he was waiting to tell me about my sister.  When he told me I got mad.  Then I tattled and  then she got in trouble.  She asked me how did you know.  I said I have my ways.  Then she came back later and started look ing for a camera or something. She threw hippo into the closet and he said oww she heard and looked in the closet and saw nothing.  So she left  and when I came back again he told me so I told my mom and he punished her  .That was a close I said.  Well at least you are feeling better and you got some practice so I will send you back in a day or 2. Okay he said good.Then I said opps,  I got to go to school and he said can I come?   So I said ok but I will need to be careful.  School was boring,  but there was a bully who always took my things that were in my pouch.  When he looked he saw a fake hippo so he said you are lucky and let me go.   Later I asked hippo what did you do then?  He said I am only real when you are with me . Well anyway that is a good thing.  Let's go.  I promised my friend I would show him hippo and tell him not to be afraid.  Later I asked if Robert could sleep over and his mom said yes,  so he got to sleep over.  Then I showed him.  He was amazed.  I told him not to tell anyone but he showed it to like everyone.  I said it might be time to send you home but first he wanted to play a trick on him.  So we all knew that he was a thief and he stole other people's money like his dad's so we set up a laser trap and a panel and when he crossed it( by the way it was by the wallet)  when he crossed It, it  would let of an alarm to let his parents know who set it of,  when,  and how much he took.   He tried taking $100 but when the alarm went off he was scared so he put it back and ran. Later his parents grounded him and they where happy and everybody assumed he wanted attention so  they forgot about hippo and called him a liar for awhile. But I made him feel better.  We all felt sorry for him though,  so then I said it has got to be time to send you back,  but he said wait I want to make you my best friend,  and I want to make you a general and that was it.  So I sent him back.
